Your online guide to tote betting
Whether you are new to tote betting, or an old hand, this section
contains the information to help you make your on-line experience as
fulfilling as possible. If you are unsure of some of the terms used and
what different bets actually mean, then they are explained in this
section.
The Odds
Everyone has heard the term 'odds' but, to the newcomer, it's all just
a little confusing. In fact, learning about odds is a little like going
back to school and sweating over fractions and decimals. Thankfully,
most odds are easily worked out. For instance 'evens' means 1-1. You
stake £1.00 and, if your choice wins, you are paid out £2.00. £1.00
being your stake, £1.00 being your winnings. It's as simple as that!

Types of Bet
Love The Dogs Greyhound Betting operates betting on a tote shared pool basis. Dividends for
each pool type offered will be calculated by taking the total amount bet,
the gross pool, less the operating takeout percentage to determine the net
pool. The net pool will then be divided equally by the value of the winning
bets to produce the tote dividend.
